Book launch at the Museum of National History and Archaeology Constanța

The Constanța Museum of National History and Archaeology, under the aegis of the Constanța County Council, organizes on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m., at the institution's headquarters at 7 Arhiepiscopiei Street, the launch of the volume "Killed, but not defeated. Romanian generals victims of communist prisons".

The author of the work, Col. (r) Remus Macovei, concerned with military history and author of several volumes, brings to the public's attention the destinies of some Romanian generals who suffered during the communist regime, thus contributing to the writing of important pages in Romania's recent history. 

During the event, the following will speak:

▪️ Dr. Delia Roxana Cornea, manager of the Museum of National History and Archaeology in Constanta;
▪️ Dr. Daniela Laura Cornea, member of the College of the National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives;
