A sosit \u015fi momentul ca Dobrogea s\u0103 intre pe harta transportului feroviar interna\u0163ional. Lumea bun\u0103 a Bucure\u015ftilor viseaz\u0103 ca&nbsp; deja celebrul Orient Express s\u0103 treac\u0103 prin capitala Rom\u00e2niei, apoi s\u0103 coboare \u00een Dobrogea \u015fi, de acolo, spre Constantinopol. CFR-ul, prin directorul general Gheorghe Duca \u015fi Regia Monopolurilor Statului Rom\u00e2n, prin directorul G.N. Manu \u00eenainteaz\u0103 aceast\u0103 propunere Companiei Interna\u0163ionale de Wagons Lits (CIWL), dar se lovesc de un refuz categoric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rom\u00e2nia se oferea chiar s\u0103 asigure transportul maritim cu propriile nave cu aburi ale nou-\u00eenfiin\u0163atului Serviciu Maritim al Rom\u00e2niei, dar, chiar \u015fi a\u015fa, Europa nu pare interesat\u0103 de includerea Dobrogei \u00een acest sistem. Orient Express-ul care pleca din Paris nu putea s\u0103 treac\u0103 prin Dobrogea (motivul invocat de CIWL fiind c\u0103 transferul prin Bosfor s-ar fi f\u0103cut noaptea, ceea ce era interzis de legea Imperiului Otoman), \u00eens\u0103 rom\u00e2nii nu se las\u0103 \u015fi insist\u0103 pentru aducerea unui tren interna\u0163ional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cen cele din urm\u0103, CIWL cedeaz\u0103 \u015fi decide ca prin Dobrogea s\u0103 treac\u0103 expresul Oostende \u2013 Constantinopole. Acesta pleca din Londra (fie din gara Victoria, fie din Charring Cross) \u015fi ajungea la Dover, apoi pasagerii erau transfera\u0163i peste Canalul M\u00e2necii p\u00e2n\u0103 pe continent, \u00een sta\u0163iunea de lux belgian\u0103 Oostende, extrem de popular\u0103 la finele secolului XIX \u015fi preferat\u0103 de casa regal\u0103 a Belgiei. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Artizanul Podului de la Cernavod\u0103, inginerul Anghel Saligny, este \u00eentre timp numit, la 7 octombrie 1895, director general al CFR, fiind cel care acord\u0103 o marte aten\u0163ie inaugur\u0103rii acestui tren interna\u0163ional. Se bucur\u0103 \u015fi de sprijinul Regelui Carol I, care insist\u0103, la r\u00e2ndul s\u0103u, pe c\u0103i diplomatice, pentru aducerea acestui tren \u00een Dobrogea. Acesta \u00eencepe s\u0103 circule regulat pe ruta Oostende \u2013 Bruxelles \u2013 Koln \u2013 Frankfurt \u2013 Wurzburg \u2013 Nurnberg \u2013 Passau \u2013 Viena \u2013 Westenbahnhof \u2013 Budapesta \u2013 V\u00e2rciorova \u2013 Bucure\u015fti Nord \u2013 Constan\u0163a Port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Expresul pleca mar\u0163i din Londra, la ora 10.05 \u015fi ajungea la Constan\u0163a joi, la ora 20.00. Pasagerii \u015fi po\u015fta erau aici \u00eembarca\u0163i pe vase \u015fi ajungeau la Constantinopol vineri la ora 9.00, dup\u0103 un parcurs total de 70 de ore \u015fi 55 de minute. \u00cen sens invers se pleca din Constantinopole vineri la 12.00, apoi trenul pornea din Constan\u0163a s\u00e2mb\u0103t\u0103 la 3 diminea\u0163a \u015fi ajungea la Londra, luni la 16.48.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Succesul acestui \u201cOostende Constantza Express\u201d i-a f\u0103cut pe cei de la CIWL s\u0103 accepte ca din 1896 Dobrogea s\u0103 devin\u0103 \u0163int\u0103 a mai celebrului Orient Express. Treptat, importan\u0163a lui \u201eOostende Express\u201d a sc\u0103zut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cen 1899, pe la Constan\u0163a ajunge, \u00een afara celebrului Orient Express, \u015fi un al treilea tren interna\u0163ional: Berlin \u2013 Lemberg \u2013 Constan\u0163a. Trenul berlinez mergea zilnic p\u00e2n\u0103 la Bucure\u015fti \u015fi doar de dou\u0103 ori pe s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103 ajungea \u015fi p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een Portul Constan\u0163a. &nbsp;&nbsp; Cu timpul, \u00een sec.XX, trenurile interna\u0163ionale care ajung la Constan\u0163a nu mai sunt ceva neobi\u015fnuit&#8230; Ostende \u2013 Constantza Express, numit la un moment dat Oostende \u2013 Orient Express a fost \u00eens\u0103 primul&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Reclama zilei<\/u><\/strong><strong><em> \u2013 Costume, Pardesiuri, Tailleuri pentru doamne.
